Camp Netimus for Girls was founded by family. We know what it means to be part of a family, and we hope our campers will feel as such. Spending your summer at a sleepaway camp can be a valuable experience. With great activities to offer in and out of the sun, we have the opportunities for further learning, experience, friendships and more! The core value we promote is having fun. Having fun is an invaluable part of any summer experience. When we opened in 1930 we started with only 16 campers and a dream! Some of our campers have had parents or even grandparents attend our summer sleep-away camp. Camp Netimus is an extraordinary camp full of excellent people. We are accredited by the American Camp Association which promotes safety and service among campgrounds. Needless to say, we are very proud of what we do here.
At our camp, we have a wide array of activities meant to stimulate and engage. For example, our Green Program is a great way to get involved with a number of unconventional areas for campers. We have organic gardening classes, the opportunity to care for various farm animals, cooking classes, and more! Learn valuable information about yourself and the world in our Adventure and Discovery department. Here you can take up mountain biking, hiking, camping, and other great activities! We even have a full rope course to put your athleticism to the test. When you want to make the most of your summer, we have you covered. Some of our other programs also include fine arts, water sports, equestrian activities and more. We have something for every camper.
